Dr. Samuel K.B. Asante has acquired significant experience in Legislative reform, Constitutional Systems, Governance, Arbitration, research for legal reforms and regulatory policies. Our firm is honored to have him not only as a key member of our legal project teams, but also as the Chairman of Board of Directors of ShawbellConsulting since 2003. Dr Asante was instrumental in the drafting of the 1992 Constitution of Ghana as the Chairman, Ghana Constitutional Commission and served as the Director of the United Nations Centre on Transnational Corporations in New York. He received an LL.M degree from London University in 1958 and an LL.B (Hons) degree from Nottingham University in 1956 and holds a doctorate degree in law (JSD) from Yale University Law School. In 1960, he was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and also to the Ghana Bar. He is a member of the International Bar Association, International Law Association, American Foreign Law Association and American Society of International Law and was a member of that Society's Executive Council from 1979-82.

Professor Ekow Daniels is an experienced Legal Practitioner in and outside Ghana with forty-five years experience in Legislative, Constitutional Systems, Governance, Administrative Law, Land Law, and African Legal and Political Systems. He has served as Deputy Attorney General and Minister of Justice in Ghana and has advised governments in Africa since 1962. He has also served as a Visiting Professor of Law at the Temple University, School of Law, Pennsylvania, U.S.A, Guest Professor at the University of Bayreuth Law in the Economics Faculty, West Germany and Professor in Land Law, Equity and Succession at the University of Ghana Law School. Professor Ekow Daniels holds a Doctorate degree in Law from the University of London. He received an LLM degree from the University of London in 1960 and an LL.B (Hons) degree from the University of College in London in 1956.

Ms. Phyllis M. Christian is a Lawyer, as well as a seasoned business advisory consultant with a 30-year international business career. She has served local and international clients seeking legal and business advisory assistance on matters relating to nearly all business sectors, including Financial Services, Mining, Tax, Oil and Gas, Shipping, Labour and Employment, Social Development, Education, Communication and Information Systems, and Trade. She has over many years also provided consultancy services for Central Government and various Ministries, Departments and Agencies in Ghana, as part of projects conducted under the auspices of the Government of Ghana and its Development Partners such as the World Bank, DFID, EU, DANIDA, the UNDP, GTZ, USAID, CIDA, etc. Ms Christian held high office throughout her educational and professional careers in the United Kingdom, the USA and Ghana, including serving as Senior Manager at Price Waterhouse Associates and Executive Director of Ernst & Young, and as a member of Boards of Directors of a diversity of institutions in Ghana. She holds degrees in English Literature and Philosophy from the University of Ghana, post-graduate qualifications in International Law & Business from the City University of London, and is a Senior Member of the Ghana Bar and Solicitor of the Superior Courts of Judicature of Ghana.

Mrs. Brako holds a pre-professional qualification from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators in the UK, a degree in Psychology from the University of Ghana, a post-graduate Diploma in Education, as well as law review training from the University of London. She has a range of practical experience gained in a diverse range of management, as well as legal review and other relevant consulting activities. She possesses good business development, marketing and project management skills with proven ability to lead, motivate, communicate, organize, negotiate and manage resources efficiently. Before she joined our firm Mrs. Brako had been appointed Training/Practice Support manager at Ernst & Young.

Paul Ankrah is a multi-lingual business professional with over twenty-three (23) years experience in Market Development, Project Management, Global Best Practices, Organisational Development, Infrastructural Development, Change Management, Environmental Technology, Business Analysis, and Financial Reporting gained in a cross cultural B2B environment across Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. Mr. Ankrah also holds an MBA from the Aston Business School, UK and a BSc in Timber Technology from the Brunel Chiltern University, UK. Mr Ankrah is also an Associate of the Institute of Wood Science, UK (A.I.W.Sc)

Jane Dede Tetteh is a Senior Consultant on the Legal Services team at ShawbellConsulting. Since joining us in 2007, she has been engaged in various significant Legal Advisory, Legal Research and Legal Reform projects. As part of her legal responsibilities within our firm Ms. Tetteh has conducted legislative reviews on many of our Projects. She also provides legal and business development support to our firm's international and local clients and has been involved in providing training support to our sister firm, the Ghana Institute of Consulting. Ms. Tetteh is licensed to practice Law in Ghana and is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.

Martin Kenny is a Manager in the Policy Development and Institutional Reform unit of our firm. He has a broad range of knowledge in areas of Public Policy including international trade issues. He supports top management in conducting all institutional reform projects conducted by the firm. He also supports the firm's work in providing business development services to an array of both multi-national and local clients. Martin holds a BA in Public and Social Policy from the National University of Ireland, Galway and a MSc in Globalisation and International Policy Analysis from the University of Bath in the UK.
